A Book Fair/ A Visit to a Book Fair

Visiting a book fair is a very wonderful experience for us. It is a special event where many books are shown and sold. Recently, I went to a big book fair. The day was very nice and sunny. I went there with my parents and friends. We started our trip early in the morning. When we reached there, I was very happy to see it. The whole place was decorated with colorful lights and banners. There were many small stalls of books everywhere. People of all ages came to buy books. I saw many storybooks, picture books, and science books. We walked slowly and looked at all the stalls. I bought some nice storybooks with colorful pictures. My parents also bought some books for my school. We met many teachers and writers there. It felt great to see so many book lovers. We also ate some tasty snacks at the food stalls. We took many photos to remember this happy day. The time passed very quickly in the evening. We returned home with a happy heart and new books. A book fair helps us learn many new things. It teaches us to love reading books every day. Everyone should visit a book fair to get good knowledge. The sweet memories of this day will stay with me. It was one of the best days of my life. I am waiting to visit a book fair again.

Auxiliary Verb ও তার ব্যবহার

  Auxiliary Verb কাকে বলে ? Auxiliary verb বা সাহায্যকারী ক্রিয়া হলো এমন verb যা অন্য একটি মূল verb- কে (principal verb) সাহায্য করে বাক্যটির tense, voice, বা mood প্রকাশ করতে। এটি নিজে কোনো কাজ বা অর্থ নির্দেশ করে না , বরং মূল verb- এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে বাক্যকে পূর্ণতা দেয়। বাংলায় যাকে আমরা ' সাহায্যকারী ক্রিয়া ' বলি , ইংরেজিতে সেটাই 'auxiliary verb' । এই verb গুলো বাক্যের প্রধান verb- কে বিভিন্নভাবে সমর্থন করে। দুটি Tense- এর কোনো কোনো বাক্যে auxiliary verb থাকে না। এগুলো হলো : Simple Present Tense: এই Tense- এর হ্যাঁ - বাচক বাক্যে কোনো auxiliary verb থাকে না। Simple Past Tense: এই Tense- এর হ্যাঁ - বাচক বাক্যে কোনো auxiliary verb থাকে না। Simple Present Tense- এর ক্ষেত্রে : হ্যাঁ - বাচক বাক্য : She goes to school.
